Dr. Matthew Tobin is a General Dentist at Mayflower Dental in Sydney
Dr. Matthew Tobin was born and raised in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton. Graduating from Memorial High School in 2013, he moved on to complete his Bachelor of Science Honours in Chemistry at Cape Breton University in 2017, where he also worked as an organic chemistry research student.
From there, Dr. Tobin moved to Halifax to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Dalhousie University, graduating in 2021. Upon graduation, Dr. Tobin was offered an Associate position with the Mayflower Dental Group.
Dr. Tobin practices all areas of general dentistry, including restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and implant restorations. His goal is to create a comfortable environment for his patients and to give them a beautiful smile. While not working, Dr. Tobin enjoys running, hiking, golfing, and snowboarding during the winters. As a proud Cape Bretoner, Dr. Tobin is happy to be able to practice and give back to the community he calls home.
